Director of Economic & Community Development

William Tisdale is a seasoned business and economic development professional with over 30 years of experience in advancing underrepresented communities and emerging markets. As the founder of Twenty20 Management, established in 2005, he has successfully planned and managed over $1 billion in development projects nationwide. William holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, with expertise encompassing market and economic analysis, financial feasibility, and impact analysis for diverse projects, including housing, mixed-use developments, museums, and commercial spaces.

Throughout his career, William has advised private developers, government agencies, nonprofits, educational institutions, and religious organizations across the U.S. on economic development strategies. His projects have incorporated public-private financing, strategic community planning, and targeted inner-city initiatives, with a particular focus on North Tulsa. As Director of Minority Business Development at the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, he led the North Tulsa Economic Development Plan, which generated over $100 million in investments and attracted major companies such as Brainerd Chemical, Whirlpool, and Albertsons, spurring residential, industrial, and retail growth in the area.

In addition to his work at Twenty20, William serves as a Trustee on the Tulsa County Board of Adjustments, Board Chair of the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member for the Oklahoma Popular Culture Museum (OKPOP). His commitment to community and economic empowerment continues to drive meaningful progress in Oklahoma and beyond.
